Mahjong is one of the most popular games right now—and this beginner lesson is a great place to start!

In this one-session class, you’ll learn the essentials of American Mahjong: how to recognize the tiles, read the NMJL card, build hands, and understand the flow of the game (plus a little table etiquette so you feel confident jumping in).

No experience needed. All materials are provided—just come ready to learn and play.

*This session requires a minimum of 8 participants; if the minimum is not met, the session will be canceled. If there is an odd number of participants, you may be paired with another person or be at a table with 3 players. These standard teaching methods all ensure a high-quality instructional experience.
